 As a personal project, I’ve been creating custom Minecraft figures as fridge magnets, inspired by LEGO minifigures. These figures are completely homemade, from design to assembly, and I’ve had a lot of fun bringing them to life.

I drew the models as 3D versions based on LEGO minifigure designs and 3D-printed them, ensuring that each detail matched the blocky aesthetic of Minecraft. Since I wanted a vibrant and high-quality finish, each color was printed separately and then glued together for a clean, layered look. Unlike LEGO minifigures, these figures don’t have movable joints, but they still capture the essence of their in-game counterparts.

Below, you’ll find pictures of the finished figures as well as their 3D models. I hope they inspire others to try similar projects, whether for decoration or just for the joy of making something unique!

  My Biggest 3D Printing Projects: Two R2-D2 Robots  One of the most ambitious 3D printing projects I’ve taken on was building not one, but  two R2-D2 robots !  The Full-Sized R2-D2 My first build was a  full-scale R2-D2 , which took me about  a year  to complete. This massive droid weighs around  35 kg  and is powered by  two 125W motors .
